Future adverts may include up to 8 photos and reviews up to 3 photos, subject to approval and secure processing. Photo uploads will require a working malware scanner. We will check actual file contents, remove metadata and re-encode pictures before storage and moderation. If scanning is unavailable, uploads must be rejected. Private, scanned member advert photo uploads are now available, while public photo display remains disabled.

A proper description, written by the tradesperson
This space will allow tradespeople to explain how they work, the jobs they are best suited to, experience and customer expectations. It will not be presented as independently proven just because an administrator has moderated the advert.
These are illustrative trade categories, not advertised services from a real business.
Customer reviews you can understand
Future star averages will use only administrator-approved reviews from eligible, non-banned members. A banned member's stars will stop counting immediately. Until verified reviews exist, we won't invent a five-star score or testimonials.
Before booking any trade
Is an approved advert the same as a guaranteed tradesperson?
No. Approval will mean an advert passed our publication checks. Skills, insurance and memberships must be assessed and labelled separately; we cannot guarantee workmanship.
Can a business remove an honest negative review?
A trade may report an abusive or false review, but negative feedback is not automatically misconduct. A moderation decision should be reasoned, consistent and open to challenge.
Will photographs prove that a business completed the work?
No. Photo processing helps stop malicious file uploads; it does not prove who took a photograph or who completed a job. Verified evidence claims must be distinguished from business-submitted photographs.
Professional, but not at the expense of trust.
We're building this carefully. When adverts and reviews launch, there will be clear moderation, reporting, photo-security and member-banning rules — and clear labelling while the service is new.
